that's so beautiful! I love it because we can rest IN HIM. that's why my favorite poem is footprints...he holds us in his hands and we get to rest knowing that he has our burdens under control. Like Natalie Grants song Held "this is what it is to be loved, and to know that the promise was that when everything fell, we'd be held".
Thanks for posting this... You posted 2 of my all time favorite songs - they speak to the core of who we are and all that we need. How wonderful we were raised to know and need the Love of Christ. Nothing else compares. XOXO
What great words. We've all cried them out at some point haven't we? Makes me teary thinking about how it feels when you are crying out, but also how it feels when you hear and see God and it allows you to REST. What a gift we get to receive that we didnt earn, nor ever will. I needed this myself. Thanks for sharing.
